"A jug fills drop by drop."- Buddha
India is home to a number of different regions and landforms, including the Himalayas, the Ganges River, the Indus River, and the Deccan Plateau. It’s also famous for its summer and winter monsoons, which are seasonal wind patterns in southern Asia. The summer monsoon brings warm, wet air and very heavy rains, while the winter monsoon brings cold, dry air from the northeast part of Asia.

The largest cities in Ancient India were Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro, each with about 35,000 inhabitants. Both of the cities were very advanced for their time, having sewer systems, bathrooms, and public wells providing the people with an endless supply of water. They also had some buildings as tall as three stories high.

The economy back then was based mostly on farming and trading. When the Indus River flooded, it made perfect farming conditions for crops like wheat, barley, and peas. They also traded copper, lumber, precious stones, cotton, and types of luxury goods for things like food and textiles. As you can see, their economy was completely based of farming and trading.
